Agnes Joseph
Agnes Daniel was born January 21,1946 on the island of Dominica in the West Indies to Sylvie and Phillip Daniel. Her siblings include Annarose, Jeremiah, Judith, Naomi, Nolma, Anastasie, Shem and Damian. In 1962, she married Michael Joseph and from this beautiful union, six children were born; Eral, Egbert, Linton, Dawn, Linwall, and Vernel.
Agnes was instrumental in raising majority of her grandchildren. She gifted them with their own individual nickname and played an integral role in each of their lives.
Agnes enjoyed drinking a hot cup of coffee right before bed, watching her soap opera during the day and WWE Smackdown on Thursday nights. One of her favorite meals was steamed fish with provision. She had an infectious laugh that was contagious. Talking to her siblings was something she looked forward to daily.
To the world she was known as Agnes, but to her family she was “Mama”. She was the essence of God-Fearing, duty, compassion, and grace. She was selfless and would never hesitate to help a family member or friend in need. Agnes was an assertive woman. She had the rare gift of letting you know what was on her mind without having to say a word (Her facial expressions spoke volumes).
On July 7th, Agnes Joseph transitioned to eternity. Although we are all grieving, we are so thankful to have been blessed with such an amazing woman. She never had a chance to say goodbye and only God knows the reason why. No more suffering, no more pain. Safe in the arms of Jesus.
