Lyndon Gershwin Cuffy, age 55, passed away peacefully at home on August 19, 2020, at 2:30PM.  Lyndon was born December 5, 1964 in Trinidad & Tobago, San Juan, West Indies, to Horace and Cynthia (deceased) Cuffy, Lima, Ohio.

Lyndon graduated from Lima Senior High School in 1982, Lima, Ohio. Upon his graduation, he moved to Houston, Texas and was employed by J. P. Morgan Chase for over 20 years. There he met his wife, Angie (Ysaguirre) Cuffy.  They married November 26, 1988 and raised 3 dogs, Buddy (deceased), Baja (deceased) and Brady.

Lyndon had a great love for…family; traveling; music (all genres); singing (participating in church and school choirs); showcasing his vast singing abilities; critiquing up and coming singers; food (Indian cuisine); sports (any Texan team); talking (about every topic); trivia; counseling all relatives and friends; watching western movies; and giving financial advice.

Despite the twist and turns he had endured with his health on this life journey…he never complained and always had a positive outlook.  God took him away from this life for a greater purpose to complete his life story.

In addition to his wife and father, Lyndon is survived by his siblings: Andre’ (Sheila) Cuffy of Leo, IN, Claudette (Daniel) Garcia of Toledo, OH, Heston (Tina) Cuffy of Lima, OH, Stephen (Lisa) Cuffy of Pataskala, OH, and Michelle (Michael) Walker of Lima, OH., and a host of Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.  He will be greatly missed and always remembered.

Lyndon was a true friend of ours. His positive attitude, regardless of circumstances was infectious. He was always fun to be with and had a laugh that would become contagious. My wife, family and I will truly miss him. The Lord has taken him to a better place. Now all we can do is wait to someday be reunited with Lyndon, whom I am sure will be laughing when he sees us.

We’ll all miss uncle Lyndon. He was just the sweetest person, with a great sense of humor and warmth to him. Anyone who met him was better for having known him. While he will not be here on earth with us, there is comfort in knowing he will be smiling down from heaven.
