Pedro Molinas

Pedro Ernesto Molinas Ovelar nació en Asunción, Paraguay el 1 de Agosto de 1942.  El estudió y se convirtió en electricista en Paraguay.  Le gustaba mucho el fútbol y fue un gran jugador.  El entrenó y se preparó para ser un jugador profesional de fútbol.

Pedro jugó en el equipo de Olimpia de Paraguay y logró ser parte del equipo Nacional de Paraguay a la edad de 26 años, su apodo en el campo de juego era “Cable”. Conoció a su esposa Celia Araujo en 1965 y se casaron dos años más tarde en 1967. Tuvieron cuatro hermosos hijos: Pedro, Celia, Carlos y Viviana. Pedro fue un buen padre y siempre impulsó a sus hijos a tener una buena educación y ser felices en la vida. Pedro siempre ayudó a su familia cuando lo necesitaban, incluso desde joven ayudaba a sus padres y hermanos. Pedro disfrutaba viajar a lo largo del país con su familia. El asistió a siete copas mundiales de fútbol alrededor del mundo. También le gustaba pescar, trabajar en carros, le gustaban los carros Ford Mustang, leer, asistir a los partidos de fútbol de sus nietas y pasar tiempo con sus hijos. El adoraba los animales, tenía un perro llamado Blackie que fue su gran amigo. Pedro superó muchos obstáculos en su vida, pero siempre mantenía su buen humor y una actitud positiva ante la vida. Recientemente Pedro disfrutaba mirar partidos de fútbol y sus series de Netflix. Era un aficionado de la historia y siempre quería aprender más. Pedro es querido por mucha gente en su país natal Paraguay y en Estados Unidos. Su familia lo extrañará enormemente y siempre recordarán el buen hombre y padre que el siempre fué.

Pedro Ernesto Molinas Ovelar was born in Asunción, Paraguay on August 1, 1942.  Pedro studied and became an electrician in Paraguay.  He was always a huge soccer lover and player. He trained and tried out to become a professional soccer player.  He played for the Olimpia soccer team in Paraguay.  Pedro made the Paraguayan National Soccer team at the age of 26 and his nick name was “Cable” on the soccer field. He met his wife Celia Araujo in 1965 and they got married two years later in 1967.  They had four beautiful children together: Pedro, Celia, Carlos, and Viviana. Pedro was a great father. He always encouraged his children to get a good education and to be happy in life.  Pedro always helped his family when they needed it, even at a young age he would help his parents and siblings if they needed it. Pedro enjoyed traveling and he would also drive cross country with his family. He went to 7 World Cups all which were around the world. He also enjoyed fishing, working on cars, loved his Ford Mustang cars, reading, going to his grand-daughters soccer games, and spending time with his children. He loved animals; he had a dog named Blackie that was his good friend. Pedro overcame many obstacles in his life and yet he always remained in good spirits and had a positive outlook on life.  As Pedro got older, he enjoyed watching many soccer games and Netflix series. He was a History buff and was always wanting to learn.  Pedro is loved by many people from his birth country of Paraguay and the United States of America. His family will miss him dearly and always remember the good man and father that he was.
