Lucas T. Rincon, 67, of Pasadena, TX, passed away on February 12, 2021 after a battle with COVID. Lucas was born on October 18, 1953 to Arnulfo Rincon Anzures and Fulgencia Aldegunda Torres Ayala in Tlapanala, Puebla, Mexico. As a boy living in Mexico he liked to play baseball, soccer and ride bikes. He had an abundant of friends and loved playing guitar. At the age of 26 Lucas migrated to the United States for better opportunities.

Lucas was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of Ornaldo Ybarra, Rosa Ybarra, Jaqueline Gil, and Monica Rincon and always tried his best to support them. Lucas was also a passionate about soccer and could often be found attending games for the Houston Dynamo and the National Team of Mexico. His favorite hobby was tending to his garden and flowers. His favorite flower is the John F. Kennedy rose. Music was a comfort to Lucas and his favorite artist were Julio Igesias, Luciano Pavarotti, Abba, Celine Dion, and many others with opera tones.  His love, laughter and generosity will be dearly missed by all.

Anyone who knew Lucas knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. Lucas was predeceased by his parents Arnulfo Rincon Anzures and Fulgencia Aldegunda Torres Ayala He is survived by his spouse Froelina Batz; son Ornaldo Ybarra; daughters Rosa Ybarra, Jaqueline Gil, and Monica Rincon; grandchildren Amanda Marie Delgado, Steven Salvador Romo, Maya Izel Medellin, Lucas Michael Chapa Rincon, Marco Roman Medellin, and Naldo Albany Ybarra; great granddaughter Natalie Marie Garza. He is also survived by siblings Margarita Rincon Torres, Eustolia Rincon Torres, Aurelia Rincon Torres, Agripina Rincon Torres, Monica Rincon Torres, and Pablo Rincon Torres.

The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 8706 Almeda Genoa Rd., Houston, TX 77075. There will be a viewing where respects can be made on Monday February 22nd from 4PM-8PM.
