Alexander Hernandez

Alex Hernandez, 71 years old, of Houston, Texas, passed away on April 21, 2021. He was born in Grand rapids Michigan on June 30, 1949 to Martha & Jose Maria Hernandez.

Alex was full of joy, love and very compassionate to those that needed help. Virtues which he shared with his wife Rose. Together they save many homeless puppies and helped people by clothing them. Automotive vehicle restoration was a great passion of his which he learned from his Father Jose to continue his legacy. His greatest passion was to teach and preach the word of the Lord. He was always studying the Bible, learning the truth and sharing what he found. Alex wasn’t always serious, he always shared a joke or two to make you laugh. He once did a Nasa test study for weightless astronauts. When I came to visit him, he had no hair!!! He said lost it by some radiation test! Shocked me, but I was glad he wasn’t glowing!!!

Alex is preceded in Death by Parents Martha & Jose Maria Hernandez; Brother, Joseph Hernandez. He is survived by Wife Rose, Mary Hernandez; Children, Herman (Crystal) Hernandez, Alisa Hernandez, Miranda Hernandez, Flora (Ysmael) Saldivar; Stepchildren, Idera Patrick, Lawrence Chappell; And 14 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren; Sisters, Martha (Edward) VanLoo, Hope (Felix) Rositas; Brothers, George (Betsy) Hernandez, David (Conda) Hernandez and Ricardo Hernandez.
