Eduardo “Lalo” Rangel 63, of Houston, TX was welcomed into Heaven on September 25, 2021. Eduardo was born June 17, 1958 in Nuevo Laredo Tamaulipas, Mexico, son to the late Rafael Rangel and Elva Saenz Rangel.

Eduardo was know by his friends and family as “Lalo” and “Eddie”. Eddie was strong and determined, loving and caring, humble and giving. His charisma and positivity always amazed us, and proved nothing is impossible. He was most well known for being a mentor and friend. He was visually – impaired and a Blind Technology Specialist who serviced and taught his fellow blind community members throughout the State of Texas with their technologies. He would assist those with cross-platform devices, and tutor them from cell phone technologies to computer systems and allow all of his students to maintain their independency, career status and as a result improving the quality of their lives. Eddie also assisted Sign Shares & The Capsule Group Inc. in creating communication access & advocacy for people and their families who have disabilities. He was a proud Spanish interpreter, among many other talents for Sign Shares International. The Texas Blind & Deaf Communities has suffered a major loss. Yet, it is for certain, that Eddie’s eyes are now open in the Heavens as he remains one of our biggest advocates.

Eduardo’s presence will be missed by his wife of 42 years Letty Rangel; his sons Eddie Jr., Rafael, Randy, his wife Crystal. His grandchildren Angel and Olivia Rangel; his sisters Carmen Carrasco (Vicente), Patti Molina (Jose Arnulfo), Maria Cortez (Jose) Rachel Mireles (Alfredo), sister-in-law Blanca Rangel. Love you Guys. This loss is breaking hearts all over. I remember going out with him at a young age and him teaching the importance of school. Took me to worksites laying down foundation for new homes. He made me walk across the foundation before they poured. It was awesome even though we both had look for one of my shoes. This memory has never left me but his focus was for me to understand the worth of education and it still a foundation I live by to understand the sacrifice our farthers have made to give us an opportunity to succeed. Thank you Uncle Lalo you will be missed by many but your in his arms know. Love Your Nefew David Gonzalez
