July 1, 1970 – September 13, 2021

Our beloved Maria Isabel Leal went home to rest in the arms of her Lord, Jesus Christ on September 13, 2021. Isabel was born and grew up in Houston, and everybody loved her. She was proceeded in death by her loving mother Margarita M. Martinez.  She is survived by her husband Arthur Leal.  She is also survived by her children, Juan Jose Sanchez Jr., Savannah Bianca Sanchez, Kevin Alexander Sanchez, stepchildren, Lisa Marie Lopez, Deanna Leal, Arthur Leal, Pilar Leal, 3 grandchildren, 9 step-grandchildren, and many family members.

Occasionally, we are blessed to know someone so special, so dear that their mere presence brightened your day, Isabel was such a person.  She enjoyed helping others, traveling, catching big fish, and cooking good food, but her best times spent was with her family. She loved her children and her grandchildren brought her much happiness. But most of all she lived life to the fullest with her husband she loved so much.

It was an honor to have known such a wonderful person who will forever live in our hearts and memories.

Isabel was one of the best friends anyone could ask for. She was kind, funny, sweet, and always a lending ear. There was never a dull conversation, full of smiles and laughter. You became my family. I missed you yesterday, I miss you today, and I will miss you until we meet again. I love you

Isabel was a blessing that God granted myself and my family with. She was always a phone call away. Years could go by and when we spoke it was like no time had past. She was so brave and wild. Loud and loving. Everything I needed in my life. My life on Earth is forever changed since she has gained her wings. But I do not regret one day that I had her in my life. I love her then, now and for eternity.

My sweet Isabel. I am lost in thought of what to say. Over the past 3 years, and how my new coworker turned into my biggest advocate, to support me and last to be my friend no matter what. From our late night staying up playing drunken Uno, to grabbing a bite at a new restaurant. I cherish so many memories of you. You even let your husband to buy my 98′ WS6 Trans Am. I always felt like I was at home when I’d stay weekend at your house. You showed me wbat kindness really is. This isn’t goodbye, I’ll see you again my dear friend. I love you
