Hermelinda Estrada Licourt, age 58, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022, in Houston, Texas. She was born on Friday, April 24, 1964, in Houston, Texas, to her parents Esperanza Castillo Estrada and Tomas Estrada. She loved her family tremendously. She was very happy to be a mom and a grandmother and a great grandmother. Hermelinda enjoyed playing bingo, watching TV, especially game shows, and joking around. She loved listening to music and dancing.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Juan and Ray Estrada and one son who passed at birth, Magdaleno Campos. She leaves behind to cherish her memories of her children, Carlos Vasquez, Veronica Perez, Francisco Javier Ramirez and Miguel Angel Estrada. She also leaves behind three sisters, Rosa Estrada, Angie Guerrero and Yolanda Amaya; Five brothers, Gabriel, Gilbert, Joe, Thomas and Steve Estrada. She was blessed with seven grandchildren, Juan and Tabatha Vasquez, Jose, Arlene, Jasmine, Samantha and Alex Perez. Hermelinda was very blessed with one great grandson, Sebastian Cortez.
Her family will be receiving guests on Thursday, July 7, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home located at 8706 Almeda Genoa Road, Houston, Texas 77075.
There will be a celebration of her life on Friday, July 8, 2022, beginning at 10:00 AM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel.
She will be laid to rest at 12:00 Noon at Forest Lawn Cemetery located at 8601 Almeda Genoa Road, Houston, Texas, 77075.
