Corey James McBride

Corey James McBride was born on January 13, 1978, and passed away peacefully on March 16, 2024 in Houston, TX.

Corey liked to have fun with everything he did and every conversation he had. Always looking at the bright side of things. He loved living life to the fullest. Corey loved to party as much as he loved to chill.

Corey loved sports but the New Orleans Saints and LSU were his favorite teams and no matter how they did, they were always winners to him.

Coery lost his older and younger brother at a very early age. Throughout his life, he tried to be strong for his mother and the rest of the family. His cousins and daughter were some of the important people in his life.

His mother and stepfather love Corey very much. They’ll miss him every day.

Corey is survived by his mother Lavera Mason and Stepfather Steve Mason; Daughter Kelsey Mosley; Aunts Winona Smith, Patricia McBride; Uncles James McBride Jr. and William Lawrence McBride; Great Uncle Samuel Jackson Jr.; Niece Fola Shade’ Goode; Nephew Dequiney Williams; Cousins Tiffany McBride (Jason Reneau), Brandy McBride, Kelly McBride, Jerry McBride, Kalin McBride, Jazmin Brown, James Brown, Malinda Smith, Tina Smith, Unniaca Smith, and Carl Smith; And a host of great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his Great Grandparents Winona Mae Jackson and Samuel Jackson Sr., Great Grandparents Nancy McBride and William McBride, Great Grandfather Lawrence Solomon; Grandparents Shirley Mae McBride and James McBride Sr.; Aunt Amarlyliss Smith; Uncles Ronald, David McBride, Michael McBride, Derrick I. McBride, and Arthur C. McBride; Brothers Fredrick McBride and Ronald D. McBride.
