Tio Lito, my beloved uncle, was the most playful, coolest, funniest, loving, and easy going member of my family. I cherish the moments when we used to play basketball together when I was growing up and talking about sports and the rockets and trying to figure out if that was the year they were going to win and they did. We were so happy that we guessed it right. Memories of playing in the pool with my sister and cousins, memories of all the times you coming to our house and picking us up and saying “ Let’s Go” in the most funniest coolest way. It was so cool watching you Dance , you had some amazing dancing skills that I tried mimicking and some definite style when it came to clothes. You always made us laugh with your witty remarks and jokes and never lost a beat. You always told me about how it was living with us when both my sister and I were just new borns and would put us on your shoulders and play and later say to us, “ boy I used to wipe your butt what you talkin about”! I loved how you always wanted the best for me and advised me to stay in school, stay out of trouble and continue playing music. Man I enjoyed being with you I miss you and I love you. Thank you for loving us and being such a great great great uncle all these years. May you now Rest In Peace and enjoy your Heavenly Reward with our Lord Jesus Christ for all Eternity. Till The Lord comes back and has us all together again I can’t wait for you to say to me one more time, “Let’s go” : ) and enjoy true life.

    Sincerely your nephew

Death might have taken you away from me but the memories forever will remain in my heart. I will miss your frequent visits to my house to administer your B12 injections. It was always fun watching such a grown man be afraid of a needle 🙂 You always told me I had angel hands. Thank you for allowing me to be your family Nurse all this years!! Tío, I never got the chance to thank you for your unconditional love. You were always full of joy & had great advice to give. My kids & I will miss you very much. May your soul rest In peace Tio Rafa…..love you dearly !
