Dorrel LaCroix was a caring, generous, and helpful person. He had inner strength and very was kind. Dorrel had a great sense of humor.  He was an avid card player and Jeopardy enthusiast. Some would say he was a human encyclopedia. Dorrel will be truly missed by family and friends.

He is survived by his Wife A. Janet LaCroix; Children, Sharon Fenton (Courtney Fenton), Larry LaCroix (Veronica), Karen Balket (Malcom Balket); Grandchildren Lawrence Fenton (Jenifer Fenton), Xavier Fenton, Ki-Ana Fenton, Quentin LaCroix, Victoria LaCroix, Jordan Hightower, Kyra Booker & Terranda Booker Jr.; Great Grandson Thomas Fenton; Sister Yoland LaCroix; Brothers Ronald, Johnny & Winfield LaCroix.
