September 17, 1966 – February 25, 2021

Sean was an all around great guy. He was smart as a whip great with numbers. He could turn 20 cents into $10.00. We use to joke about getting him on wall street. He was a great investor, knew how to make money. He was kind and caring would give you the shirt off his back, always came to the rescue for anyone in a bind. He was a man of many hats, floor installer was his speciality but he loved to do carpentry. He coud build anything with his hands. He would be plumber, painter, carpeting ac electrical and may many hats he wore. He was funny, always changing the words in songs to something silly. Sean has tons of friends here in Houston, but his kids and family were in Alabama. He was a grandpa and as a matter of fact his daughter just had a baby and named it after him. Wren Myles . He was a proud paw-paw.

The first thing he said when he moved in was I know you like plants let me look at all of them. So I can learn their names. He cames out in the middle of the night to watch me dig up my first sweet potatoe. Everyone was laughing but he said I knew you could do it. We would sit out on the porch for hours laughing, talking and playing word games all night long. He was a wonderful friend and person. He would lend, give, do anything for you of course as long as it didn’t come directly out of his wallet. And even then if you needed he would do it. I was very proud to call him a friend. – Trisha

  1. PAULA MILLER on March 15, 2021 at 1:59 pm

Myles “SEAN” Miller – my oldest son passed 2-25-2021 suddenly in Houston, TX. Immediate family (in Texas) have been unable to finalize arrangements due to various circumstances. We will be having a Celebration of Life very soon. Due to Covid, I had not seen Sean in nearly 2 years which greatly saddens me. No “Happy Birthday Mom” on 2/25 (I wondered why he didn’t call that day like every other year to chastise me about growing older), and no “goodbyes” either. He’s just gone with no explanations from anyone who knew him on a daily basis. I can only pray that Sean remembered he was dedicated to God at an early age and had truly given his heart to the Lord. He will be missed by his mother Paula Miller in Dallas; his brothers Scott Miller in Dallas and Robert Miller in Baytown; his step-mother Laura Richardson Miller and his step-sister Leisha Montelongo – both in Demopolis, AL; and his sons Garry Miller and Christopher Miller and a step-daughter Jeannie Cunningham in Alabama.
I love you Son and will see you again, MOM
