Christopher Scott Harrell was born in Channelview, TX. He grew up in Laporte, TX where he met lifelong friends.  As a child, he loved karate and playing paintball with his friend Colton.  He adored his dogs Buster and Radar. He loved being by the water or outdoors. Chris enjoyed welding, collecting knives, riding four-wheelers and jet skis, and fishing, even though his friends said that he would never catch a fish.

Chris was known for being a picky eater but loved buttered bread and pumpkin pie. Every Christmas, his aunt Jackie would make a pie just for him. Chris was a very intelligent person.  In high school, he made As in Calculus and Biology. All his friends said that he was the smartest out of the group.

Christopher was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Harrell, and survived by his mother Kimberly Arredondo, and his three sisters: Cassandra Garcia, Lassandra Garcia, and Adrianna Appleton.

He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his friends and family. He truly loved each of them. He carried himself with an enormous heart, loyalty, and full of love for those who went before him. Chris will be dearly missed but the pain of missing him is a beautiful reminder of the joy of loving him.

My fondest memory of Chris was when his dad made him take a shower. When Chris got out of the shower Jerry went for his. Chris and I schemed to return to Jerry the favor. So while Jerry was showering. Chris and I dumped cold water on Jerry while he was showering. ( Imagine the back door was directly across from the bathroom. So we took a rope and tides both door knobs so Jerry couldn’t get out. 😂 Chris thought that was the greatest thing. After all! He was only 8 years old! I loved that young man! We used to chat about once a year just to catch up. My heart goes out to the family!
