Zulema Idalia Salinas was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She passed away at her home on January 18, 2024, at the age of 62.

Zulema was born on July 22, 1961, to Jesus and Elvia Abarca who preceded her in death. She was married to Andrew Gonzalez Salinas and together they raised five children: Jason Abarca, Andrew Fregia Salinas, Jonathan Salinas, Adam Michael Salinas and Rebecca Garza.

Zulema was a stay-at-home wife and loved spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren. They were her most prized possession. She loved spending time with her siblings and friends. She also loved getting together with her sisters. She enjoyed being around those she loved. She had a heart of gold and wouldn’t hesitate to help anyone in need.

She is survived by her husband, Andrew Gonzalez Salinas, children, Jason (Sonia) Abarca, Andrew Fregia (Maria) Salinas, Adam Michael Salinas and Rebecca Garza, grandchildren, Mariah Alize Salinas, Jalissa Jolie Salinas, Joshua Isaiah Rodriguez, Anthony Shane Abarca, Athena Marie Abarca, Jacob Andrew Abarca, Jonathan Salinas Abarca and Andrew Jonathan Salinas, 1 great granddaughter on the way, siblings, Connie (Sheldon) Fayner, Adriana Castro, Jesse (Mary) Abarca, Joel (Linda) Abarca, Sylvia (Eric) Perry, Jimmy Abarca, Gerald (Cindy) Abarca and Erik Abarca.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Jonathan Salinas, brother Cesar Abarca, and sister Elvia Beets.

Zulema’s life will live on in the hearts and memories of everyone she loved. Thank you to all who visited and contributed. The family is truly thankful.
